Course Description:
Algebra 1 is the first course in the college preparatory sequence and is designed to create strong mathematical foundations. In this course, students will explore fundamentals of Algebra, solving equations & inequalities, an introduction to functions (linear, exponential, quadratic, etc.), polynomials and factoring, radical expressions and equations, and data analysis and probability. California Common Core state standards are taught and reinforced throughout the course as the students learn to apply the content to real life situations. |
